Senior Mechanical Engineer / 54963
.Senior Mechanical Engineer (90 – 100K)
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a growing industry leading manufacturer located just south of Albany, NY. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with excellent benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Provide hands on design of electro-mechanical products and systems
- Conduct analysis to ensure design fit, form, and function
- Research and select materials
- Develop test plans and oversee prototype build and troubleshooting activities
Education and Experience:
- BSME or related degree
- 6+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer
- Experience integrating mechanical component designs with sensors and actuators etc.
- Proficient with 3D modeling (Solidworks, Creo, Inventor, or Unigraphics)
- Familiar working with sheet metal, plastics, and polymers
- Industry backgrounds preferred (automotive, aerospace, or medical device)
