Human Resources Generalist
Our client in Syracuse, NY is seeking a contract Human Resources Generalist. As the Human Resources Generalist you will assist with day-to-day HR functions; including benefits, compensation, new employee processing, and supporting existing employees. This contract assignment does have the potential to become a hired on position.
Key duties will include:
- Providing information to employees using knowledge of human resources policies, procedures, and system resources
- Working with HR team and management to ensure compliance on all policies and procedures
- Maintaining information in the HR database in a timely and accurate manner
- Handling confidential matters with tact and diplomacy using independent judgment
- Developing, running, analyzing and revising reports in support of the Human Resources and Benefits functions
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related, with 1+ years related experience
- Technical ability to learn an HRIS system quickly and effectively, proficiency with MS Office suite
- Excellent interpersonal skills, discretion, and judgment, and an ability to work collaboratively with various levels
- Outstanding attention to detail, planning and organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and work independently in a deadline driven environment
